The 2006 WorldHockey Women’s Player of the Year awards will now be presented during the closing ceremony of the Samsung Hockey World Cup and not Saturday as previously advised.

The awards will be presented by FIH President Els van Breda Vriesman and will be the first prize following the World Cup final between the Netherlands and Australia in Sunday.
